VX Search allows one to categorize and filter file search results by the user name. In order to categorize file search results by the user name, open the file search options dialog, select the 'General' tab, select the option to 'Process and Show Files User Names' and start the file search operation. When the file search operation will be completed, set the 'Categorize by User Name' file categorization mode.

The file categories view will show all user names, the number of file search results per user and the amount of disk space per user. In order to export user names and displayed statistics to a pie chart or bars chart, press the 'Charts' button, select an appropriate chart type and press the 'Copy To Clipboard' button. In order to export user names and statistics to a report file, press the 'Save' button and select an appropriate report format.

Sometimes, it may be required to generate multiple reports with each one listing files related to a specific user or perform a file management operation on files related to a specific user. In this case, select the required user name in the file categories view, press the right mouse button and select the 'Apply Filters' menu item. VX Search will filter files related to the selected user and all reports and file management operations will be performed on files related to the selected user.
