VX Search provides the ability to search files by the length of the file name allowing one to identify files with long file names,
which may cause compatibility problems with some old software programs not supporting long file names. In order to search files
by the length of the file name, open the file search dialog and add the 'File Name Length' search rule, select an appropriate
operator and enter the number of file name characters to search for.
The 'File Name Length' rule provides a number of operators allowing one to match files with the file name length more, less,
equal or not equal to a user-specified value. In addition, the user is provided with 'In Range' and 'Out Of Range' file name
length operators.
